Position: Board Member
Mr. Keletso Benjamin has been appointed Board member of the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) with effect from the 1st of July 2025.
Mr. Benjamin is a seasoned Human Capital professional with more than twenty (20) years’ experience, including over ten (10) years in strategic leadership and management roles. He has worked for various organizations such as Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA), Botswana Post, Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA), Botswana Savings Bank (BSB), Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) and Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM).
Mr. Benjamin is a strategic and futuristic professional conjoined with analytical and creative thinking skills. He has over the years in his career assisted organizations to drive business performance by inspiring people to strive for excellence through clear policies and strategies on attracting and retaining talent. He has also contributed to providing delivery of cutting-edge human resources solutions, which contributed to the overall operational efficiency and effectiveness of businesses through alignment of strategy, structure, people, culture, rewards, systems, and processes.
Mr. Benjamin has previously served in different boards of corporate pension funds such as the WUC, BSB, and CEDA Staff Pension Fund. He has also served as a Board of Trustees and Board of Director for Goo Moremi Resort (Pty) Limited and Chairperson of Sports Organizing Committee of Southern African Postal Operators Association (SAPOA) – A SADC Regional body responsible for postal operators.
Mr. Benjamin has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences majoring in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Botswana and a Master of Science in Personnel and Human Resources Management from American University. Additionally, he is a certified Development Dimensions International (DDI) facilitator and Change Agent.
